A Simple Health Guide

1. Remember that we are on Earth for a purpose.
2. Develop your potentials and skills to the fullest extent possible to help others.
3. Practice the Golden Rule; treat others the way you would like to be treated.
4. Honor and respect your elders; the way you treat your parents will be the guide your children will follow to treat you.
5. Listen to your spouse, children, and/or significant other; show them you love them as often as you can.
6. Enjoy life and the blessings that you have received with your family; sing, dance, fish, play, run, go to the theater, watch a movie, get a pet, etc.
7. If you don't object to wine, consume only one glass of red wine a day, at dinner with your family, never operate a motor vehicle under the influence. If you object to wine, or are an alcoholic, drink purple grape juice.
8. Don't smoke anything.
9. Eat a balanced diet; plenty of fruits and vegetables, complex carbohydrates and small amounts of fat and protein, enjoy your meals, brush and floss your teeth. Don't overeat.
10. Exercise
11. Listen to your body, don't abuse it, and rest after exercise or hard work.
12. Share with your doctor all your concerns about soul, mind, body and family.

Seek medical attention to evaluate:

Any new pains
Any chest pain that you have not experienced before
Any fever or chills
Any bleeding
Any numbness or weakness
Any nausea, vomiting or inability to eat
Any unexplained weight gain or loss
Any shortness of breath
Any unexplained falls
Any changes in your vision or hearing
Any problems with urination or inability to urinate
Any problem with your bowels
Any changes in your skin, any new lumps or bumps or changes in your birthmarks
